5 Things You Don’t Know…
I was tagged by Edoardo (thanks!). So here are my 5:
1. Even though on this blog mostly I blog about wireless and mobile phones, my daily work also involves server side programming. Mostly it is Java-related stuff such as Spring, Hibernate, JPA etc.
2. My wife and I had a 10-day vacation in Las Vegas and Southern California for the 2006 Christmas. We did not lost much of our “wages”. We “donated” about 75 dollars to slot machines.
3. My first cell phone is Nokia 3360. Nokia E61 is my 7th cell phone. By average I switch to a new phone every 8 months. Comparing this classic snake video game on Nokia 3360 and Nokia E61 you will see how fast mobile phones have advanced in the past 5 years.
In US the average life of a new cell phone is 9 to 18 months.
4. I am a Chinese. I admit that many items from this “88 reasons why you’re Chinese” list are true to me.
5. Here is what happened to the T-Mobile Dash: I got it before Christmas but I did not spend a lot of time on it. I swear I will blog about it soon.
Now it is my turn to pick up 5 people to continue the chain:
- Michael Yuan
- C. Enrique Ortiz
- Thomas Landspurg
- Mike Rowehl
- Simon Judge
To be honest, I know none of them “personally”. But they are all experts in mobile area and have great blog that I read everyday. Michael Yuan is the author of several Java ME books. Now he is with Redhat (JBoss) and writing two books on JBoss Seam.
