Nokia N95 for $624.99

I just noticed that N95 price is dropped significantly (>$100). Maybe it is an iPhone effect.

Non-touchscreen UIQ and “touchable” S60

Allaboutsymbian.com published part 1 of the RIZR Z8 review. This phone from Motorola is particularly interesting for two reasons:

(1) It is the first UIQ (UIQ 3.1/Symbian 9.2) phone without a touchscreen. Its form factor is very much close to S60 handsets.

(2) It is the first Symbian OS phone from Motorola since A1010 in 2005.
Since Motorola sold out its Symbian share to Nokia in 2003, many people believe Motorola will fade out its Symbian lines and focused on its Java-on-Linux strategy. (Linux does not mean more-open.)

In other news, S60 will support touchscreen in future version.
