    For some unfounded reason, I have the feeling someone will buy the Palm OS technology from Access, and revive it…

    Yes. It was quite a surprise to me that a browser company bought an OS company. Palm OS was so successful in the enterprise world (healthcare, field force automation etc). Now it faces a painful transition. I think one critical factor is the Palm OS compatibility layer. That must be good, otherwise ALP will be very difficult to attract quick adoption.
